People relying on this transport should make alternative arrangements.
Metrobus spokeswoman Esther Dreyer said that due to a strike at refineries, their fuel supplier has been unable to deliver fuel to the depots.
"At this stage, our depots are already running low on fuel supplies and as a result, we may be compelled to reduce our service. In view of the fuel crisis, therefore, we may not operate all scheduled trips. We apologise for any inconvenience caused," she said.
This is likely to have an impact on those hoping to use Metrobus to get to their voting stations.
