|||Rustenburg - The mayor of Moses Kotane local municipality Ralesole Diale, has named the five member team of his mayoral committee members, the municipality said on Thursday.
Spokesperson Beauty Makganye said the team was announced at a special council meeting on Wednesday.
Ezekiel Mashimo heads the infrastructure and technical services, Xolile Kheswa is the member of the mayoral committee (MMC) responsible for community services and public safety, Dithothi Tshetlhane is the MMC for local economic development, Lucky Lawrence Kapari heads treasury office and corporate services and Caroline Motshabi is the MMC for planning and development.
Meanwhile Ofentse Kombe of the Botho Community Movement (BCM) has been named the MMC for local economic development in the Rustenburg local municipality.
The executive mayor of Rustenburg Mpho Khunou announced a 10 member mayoral committee team last week.
BCM signed a coalition agreement with the African National Congress (ANC), after the August 3 municipal elections.
The ANC obtained 43 council seats and needed partners to retain power in the platinum rich city.
