|||Durban - A security guard is in a critical condition after he was shot in the head during a robbery at a petrol station on the N3 between Cato Ridge and Hammarsdale last night.
ER24 spokesman, Werner Vermaak, said paramedics found the security guard lying on the forecourt with a wound to his head. The guard was taken to hospital.
It appeared no one else was injured. The Hawks are investigating.
