Police have released the identity of the man suspected of killing his girlfriend after the discovery of her body.
|||Cape Town - Western Cape police have released the identity of the man suspected of killing his girlfriend after her body was discovered in a shallow grave in Blue Downs this week.
Police spokeswoman Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said a case of murder was under investigation after a body was found in Happy Valley on Monday night.
She said the possibility that the body was that of 30-year-old Sizeka Batala, who was reported missing on February 27, could not be ruled out.
On Wednesday, Rwexana said Mfuleni police needed the public’s help in tracing Ali Mbiza who was wanted for murder.
She said police had reason to believe Mbiza was responsible for her death.
