A prosecutor appeared briefly in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court on suspicion of accepting cash to release suspects on bail.
|||Rustenburg – A prosecutor accused of corruption appeared briefly in the Rustenburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Billy Solomon Molefe was arrested in January by the Directorate for priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) after it was alleged that a sum of R2 000 was found in his office.
He was suspected to have accepted the money in exchange to release certain people on bail.
The case against him was postponed to April 22 for further investigation.
