In the bush near Beachwood Golf Course, north of Durban, a homeless person has set up a gym. But his exercise routine was cut short when police officers pounced. Constable Pretty Ntanzi stands next to a “bench press”.
In a regular search initiative, local SAPS, the Durban North community policing forum and ward councillor Shaun Ryley found this workout area on Friday while searching for stolen or illegal goods. Ryley said apart from finding the fascinating gym, the team nabbed a man with a substantial amount of dagga.
